Creating the right kind of living environment is very vital when it comes to giving quality education to children is concerned. Apart from having class rooms which are comfortable and airy, we should also ensure the availability of other basic infrastructure like good computer and internet connectivity for children, availability of quality libraries, and ensure that the class rooms are optimal in terms of number of students. Overcrowding is a bane for students and should be avoided at all costs.
Availability of quality teachers is another area of concern which should be addressed fast if quality education is not to remain a mere slogan. Education is more about building character and creating knowledge bank in students and a good teacher should strive towards this. Just memorizing subjects and vomiting it in the exam hall is not exactly learning and should be avoided. Quality education is all about internalization of whatever is being taught in the class room. Let us not forget the fact that if a child spends 6 to 8 hours in the school, the balance 16 hours is spent in the house. So proper care and counseling in the house is very important for the child. Lot of children become obstinate and rude in their behavior because of lack of proper upbringing in the house where the basic tenets of love and compassion are absent. These should be ensured to make a child to grow normally and become a fully matured adult over a period of time.
